Efrat was born and raised in Tel Aviv, Israel.
She has been designing jewelry for more than a decade.
Efrat Davidsohn studied psychology and interior design. After completing her studies, she started working as a props woman at the Tel Aviv Opera House.
As a props woman, she built all kinds of special decoration objects and facial masks for the performers.
Efrat then started creating her own jewelry.
Over the years, while achieving different goals, she has come to realize that one of her best ways of expressing herself is by designing and creating her own jewelry. Most of her inspiration at that time came from viewing and participating in the opera productions.
In her designs, by combining different materials, she could turn a set of colorful crystals, fabrics, metals and pearls into a beautiful piece of jewelry.
Efrat has always been surrounded by art; from paintings to music and the theater. Efrat loves the opera - and after working at the opera house for a couple of years, she decided to only focus on creating jewelry and exhibited her pieces on a small counter at the Nachalat-Binyamin market, which is a very well-known artisans market in Israel.
Efrat’s unique technique is her way of joining and setting different materials in a perfect combination which makes the jewelry look very special. The techniques and methods that she has developed and perfected over the years have given her the ability to create and design almost anything that comes to her artistic mind.
All of Efrat's designs are made of the highest quality materials, including Swarovski crystals, cultured pearls, rhinestones, glass beads, mineral stones, brass and silver metals, including gold-filled and stainless steel.
Efrat has a small jewelry boutique located in the Gan-Hachashmal area, a place known as “The Soho of Tel-Aviv”. Her shop is very special and it's decorated in the 20’s vintage style. Models and actresses sometimes visit her boutique.
Efrat also specializes in bridal jewelry and accessories, and her boutique has a special section for brides.
Efrat is married and has two beautiful children – a crown prince and princess!
