For those "Ahava" graduates who have no family to return to after graduation, or during and immediately following their military service, "Ahava" has initiated a project called The 18+ Project. This is a project aimed at providing a warm home, a helping hand and an open heart until these youngsters get settled down in their new lives.
"Ahava" operates an emergency shelter for youngsters who must be summarily evacuated by the Authorities from their families’ homes due to extreme abuse or exposure to immediate danger. The current very old building is not suitable for its purpose, and "Ahava" has embarked upon an ambitious plan to build a new Emergency Center. However, due to the 2009 economical crisis, funds have been stopped and the building stands unfinished at the initial stages after the shell construction.
"Ahava" is funded only basically by the authorities, and we rely on assistance from warm-hearted and kind people like yourself around the world, who realize that although they themselves have been blessed, there are also blameless others who need a helping hand and a boost in life.
"Ahava" needs your ongoing assistance in helping these deserving young people, so that they may grow up like any other kid, to become useful citizens and contributing members of our society.
