The Star of David (SoD) is a six apex star which became an accepted Judaic symbol in the last centuries. The David Star first appeared on a Jewish seal found around 700 B.C. in the ancient city of Sidon. Today, the Jewish Star is one of the most important Judaism symbols. The Magen David (Hebrew for "Star of David") appears on the Israeli flag, on Jewish structures such as synagogues and is accepted as a Jewish symbol throughout the world.
